Common Name
Silver leaved Paperbark

Other Names
Silver Cajuput, Silver Cadjeput

Description
The Silver-Leaved Paperbark is a weeping tree growing 8 m (but can grow to about 18 m tall). The leaves are silver green, elliptic and grow 5 cm to 13 cm long and about 1 or 2 cm wide. New growth is silvery. Flowers are produced throughout the year. The flowers are creamy white, or yellowish white and produced in spikes about 3 cm in diameter. The fruit capsules are about 4 mm in diameter.

Habitat
along river banks , around swamps

Distribution
Silver leaved Paperbark is found in tropical northern areas of Western Australia, Queensland, and Northern Territory.
