Common Name
Goldfields Bottlebrush

Description
The Goldfields Bottlebrush is a shrub growing to 2 m tall. The leaves are heart shaped and grow 5 mm to 10 mm long and up to about 5 mm wide. The plant flowers in spring and summer. The flowers are bright red and produced in bottlebrush spikes about 4 cm to 8 cm long and 5 cm in diameter. The fruit capsules are about 4 or 5 mm in diameter.

Habitat
rocky outcrops, sandplains, river valleys

Distribution
Goldfields Bottlebrush is found in an area south of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia
