Common Name
Wiry Wattle

Description
The Wiry Wattle is a n upright shrub that grows to a height of about 2 m. The stems are green with yellowish ribs. The phyllodes are pale green, long and thin growing 6 cm to 24 cm in length and 1 mm to 2 mm wide. It flowers in spring from August to October producing yellow globular flower heads that are about 1 cm in diameter.

Habitat
Wiry Wattle is found in damp areas along water courses, near lakes, and swamps, where it grows on sandy soils

Distribution
native to the south west of Western Australia
