Description
Rib Wattle is an erect or sprawling small shrub that grows to about 0.5 m tall. It produces yellow flowers in winter and spring from June to October. The greyish green phyllodes are narrow elliptic, growing from 1 cm to 5 cm long and 4 mm to 12 mm wide. The flower clusters have 2 to 4 flower heads. The showy flower heads are spherical. The seed pods are dark brown and woody growing to 5 cm long and nearly 1 cm wide. The seeds shiny grey brown and oval in shape, to about 4 mm long.

Habitat
Eucalyptus woodland, eucalyptus forest on sandy soil or clay soil

Distribution
Rib Wattle is found in the south west of Western Australia.
