Description
The Powderpuff Lilly Pilly is a shrub growing to 3 m tall (sometimes up to 5 m). The leaves are shiny dark green above, paler below and grow 9 cm to 18 cm long and 3 cm to 5 cm wide. New growth is bronze in colour. The plant flowers in spring and summer. The flowers are red and produced in large pom-pom flower heads about 10 cm in diameter. The berries are white in colour and 10 mm to 15 mm in diameter.

Distribution
Powderpuff Lilly Pilly is found in coastal area of tropical north east Queensland from about Ingham to Cooktown.
