Common Name
Magenta Lilly Pilly

Description
The Magenta Lilly Pilly is a dense rainforest shrub or small tree growing to 15 m tall. The leaves are elliptical tapering to a point at the tip, shiny dark green above with a paler underside, and grow 4 cm to 9 cm long and 1.5 cm to 3 cm wide. The plant flowers in summer between December and March. The flowers are white and produced in clusters. The berries are magenta in colour (less commonly white or pink) and 15 mm to 25 mm in diameter.

Distribution
The Magenta Lilly Pilly is found on a coastal strip of New South Wales from about Jervis Bay to Myall Lakes.
