Common Name
Pink Rice Flower

Description
The Pink Rice Flower is a small shrub growing to about 1 m tall. The dark green leaves are oval and grow about 12 mm long. The plant flowers in early spring and summer. The flowers are bright pink and produced in rounded flower heads at the ends of the branches. Each individual flower has four sepals that look like petals.

Habitat
sand dunes, rocky soils.

Distribution
The Pink Rice Flower is found in coastal areas of south west of Western Australia
