Description
The Common Rice Flower is a small shrub growing to 0.5 m tall. The leaves are elliptical and grow 5 mm to 15 mm long and 2 mm to 8 mm wide. The plant flowers in spring and summer from September to January. The flowers are creamy white and produced in rounded flower heads. Each individual flower has four sepals that look like petals. Fruit is a capsule about 5 mm long.

Distribution
The Common Rice Flower is found in Victoria, southern South Australia, south eastern New South Wales, Tasmania.
