Description
Hop Wattle is a shrub or tree growing 1 m to 5 m tall. The green to grey-green phyllodes are long and narrow growing 4 cm to 14 cm long and 3 mm to 1 cm long. Cream or yellow flowers are produced from May to October. The flower heads are spherical. The seed pods are linear growing to 7 cm long and 5 mm wide.

Habitat
eucalyptus forest , woodland, scrubland

Distribution
Hop Wattle is found in eastern Australia from south east Queensland, eastern New South Wales, southern Victoria, south east South Australia and coastal parts of Tasmania.
