Description
Elegant Wattle is a shrub or tree with multiple trunks growing to about 5 m tall. The branches are covered in small spines about 1 cm long. The grey-green phyllodes are variable in shape and grow about 2 cm to 5 cm long, with a prominent midvein. Pale yellow or cream flowers are produced in late winter and spring between August and December. The flower heads are spherical. The seed pods are pale coloured and about 8 cm long. The seeds are brown and about 5 mm long.

arid and semi-arid areas

Elegant Wattle is found in all mainland states of Australia
