Description
Grevillea 'Firesprite' is a large shrub growing to 3 m tall and up to 5 m wide. The leaves are usually divided into narrow lobes and grow to 25 cm long and 18 cm wide. The leaf lobes are up to 8 mm wide. Clusters of orange red flowers are produced from June to October and intermittently throughout rest of the year. The cultivar is a is a hybrid between Grevillea longistyla and Grevillea venusta. It originated in 1996 at Loganview Nursery in Queensland. It was accepted for registration with Australian Cultivar Registration Authority (ACRA) as Grevillea 'Fire Sprite' in January 2007.
