Description
Brachychiton muellerianus is a tree growing to 10 m tall. The leaves are large, shallowly lobed with 3 to 5 lobes, and grow 13 cm to 22 cm long and 14 cm to 22 cm wide. The flowers are orange-red, bell-shaped, with 5 partially fused petals. The seed pods are boat-shaped, and grow about 7 cm to 9 cm long.

open eucalypt forest

Distribution
Brachychiton muellerianus is found on Cape York Peninsula in Queensland.
