Common Name
Soft Boronia

Description
Soft Boronia is an erect dense shrub that grows to 2 m tall. The leaves have between three and nine leaflets and are up to 6 cm long and 3 cm wide. The leaflets are elliptical, with the end leaflet larger than the side leaflets. The leaves have an unpleasant smell. Deep pink flowers are produced in groups of two to six from the leaf axils in late and through spring and occasionally at other times of the year. The flower has four sepals about 3 mm to 5 mm long, and four petals about 7 mm to 10 mm long, and eight stamens.

dry eucalypt forest

Distribution
Soft Boronia is found in eastern New South Wales from the mid north coast to the Blue Mountains region.
