Common Name
Slender Sun Orchid

Description
The Slender Sun Orchid has a single leaf to about 3cm long and 1 cm wide. The flowers grow in clusters of up to a dozen flowers, but they only open two or three at a time giving a sparse flowering show. The individual flowers are about 2 cm across and are blue. the main flowering season is August to January

Habitat
grows id eucalypt forest, woodland and heathland

Distribution
found in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia. Also found in New Zealand.
