Common Name
Large-fruited Tea Tree

Description
The Large-fruited Tea Tree is a shrub growing 1 m to 2 m tall. The dark green leaves are oblong and grow 2 cm long and up to 1 cm wide. Flowers are produced in spring and summer. The flowers are pink with green centre, with 5 petals and about 25 mm in diameter. Plants with yellow or red flowers sometimes occur. The fruit capsules are large, up to 20 mm in diameter.

Habitat
dry sclerophyll forest, heathland, rocky areas

Distribution
The Large-fruited Tea Tree is found in the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales
