Description
Pine-leaved Geebung is a large shrub growing to four metres tall. The leaves are long and narrow like pine needles, and grow to around 7 cm in length and 5 mm wide. It produces small racemes of yellow flowers in summer through to winter. the flowers are followed by clusters of green fleshy fruit which turns purple as it ripens. The fruit is attractive to various birds and mammals.

Habitat
found in heathland and open woodland

Distribution
Persoonia pinifolia is found in the Sydney area of New South Wales and west to the Blue Mountains
