Common Name
Hairy Spider Orchid

Description
The Hairy Spider Orchid is a terrestrial orchid from Victoria. The petals and sepals are yellowish with red stripe along the length. The dorsal sepal is held upright. The labellum or lip is pale with reddish area at the front and has prominent dark warts or calli, and has a green toothed margin towards the rear. The flower stem is erect to about 30 cm tall with one or two flowers. Flowering is in spring from September to November. The plant has a single fairly broad hairy leaf growing from the base of the plant.
